Zeltsman Marimba Festival On Tour events are short festivals that train performers in an intensive, fun seminar environment, and celebrate great music for marimba and percussion at concerts open to the public. The event is a branch of Zeltsman Marimba Festival which has produced 14 two-week-long festivals since 2001.

ZMF On Tour Boston 2018, the first ZMF On Tour to be held in the U.S., will be attended by 38 participants (ages 15 to 66) from 17 states across the U.S. as well as the Spain, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia. They will have the opportunity to work closely with six international faculty members during four days of master classes and small-group lessons, and will also attend two sessions on Alexander Technique. The four evening concerts promise to be a highlight!

A special aspect of this festival is that it has been coordinated by a team of seven students during a year-long pilot course at Boston Conservatory at Berklee taught by ZMF Artistic Director, Nancy Zeltsman. They have done a magnificent job with the preparations, and will be your fabulous hosts!
